Rici Jo

A 15 year old Rici Jo came into Media Temple Productions for a vocal lesson. 3 months later she had completed 10 songs, filmed a music video, had a photoshoot with celebrity photographer Lee Cherry, developed a website, connected on all social media sites, a bio video package, a social media plan, a PR roll-out, and video content for her PR launch.

While the music is a crucial part of the business of music, an artist is little more than the brand that is created. The task was to create a brand for Rici Jo that positioned her as an emerging artist in the pop scene, appealing to the 18-25 market and yet appropriate for 11 year olds. Rici is not your typical 'pop star' having grown up in Louisiana and naturally inclined to activities like 4-wheel riding and down-home cooking. Our approach was to have her work with celebrity photographer, Lee Cherry, who is responsible for all of Adam Lambert's images.

The collection of images were used to develop her web presence and central imaging. She began this process with no social media platform. She is fully integrated and a social media campaign has been initiated to build her fanbase.

Rici Jo's debut performance will be at House of Blues in Louisiana on September 30th. She will be beginning her PR campaign on October 1st. Be on the lookout for major developments.

Open Artist Movement

In 2009, a new brand of inspiring artists hit the market. The concept was to push Original Progressive Engaging Noteworthy and Artistic musical artists. We keyed in on the "movement" of the brand to keep it inline with a 'social movement' or something that was coming directly from the people, amassing size. Which is exactly what happened. Through concentrated action and clever marketing devices, the Open Artist Movement created social marketing campaigns that drove immediate unique hits from top tier blogs and presented artists like Jojo, Blake Lewis, Carmit from the Pussy Cat Dolls, Tigarah, Fanny Pak and Shoshana Bean on both national and international stages. It also garnered celebrity support for the non-profit organizations that the Movement raised money and attention for.
